2027: ADC UNVEILS ATIKU-AMAECHI PRESIDENTIAL TICKET
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced former Rivers State Governor and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as the vice-presidential candidate to partner former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2027 presidential election.
According to a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the decision followed extensive consultations within the party and was based on Amaechi’s experience and contributions to public service.
The party described the Atiku-Amaechi ticket as a strategic partnership aimed at offering Nigerians an experienced leadership alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
ADC expressed confidence that the ticket possesses the capacity to address the nation’s challenges and advance its vision for national development.
The announcement marks a significant step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 presidential contest.
