Zulum releases ₦5.82 billion in retirement benefits for pensioners and deceased workers’ families.

Borno state Government has released the sum of five billion, eight hundred and twenty – eight million, eight hundred and thirty thousand naira (#5,824,830,000) for payment of retirement benefits to pensioners and families of departed civil servants .

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum presented the cheques to the leadership of the trade unions in Borno state at a ceremony attended by officials of Ministries of Finance ,budget, debt management office and relevant government agencies .

The two different cheques cover retirement benefit for the year 2022 exisiting pensioners gratuity, late cases gratuity and five years pension of deceased pensioners.
