Rural Electrification Agency provide Mini Solar Grids in five communities in Yobe
The Federal Government, in collaboration with the Yobe State Government and the World Bank, has secured funding for the deployment of solar-powered renewable energy systems to provide reliable electricity to critical public institutions and healthcare facilities across the state.
The tripartite initiative was unveiled at the groundbreaking ceremony for the 13.92-megawatt interconnected hybrid solar mini-grid project in Damaturu.
similar interconnected hybrid solar mini-grid projects will also be implemented in four other locations across Yobe State, expanding access to clean and sustainable energy.
