NORTHERN SENATORS FORUM CONDEMNS BINARI ATTACK,IN TARABA
The Northern Senators Forum has condemned the barbaric attack on Binari community in Karim-Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State last weekend.
In a statement Chairman of the Forum, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, described the killing of worshippers, women and children after Juma’at prayers on Friday as shocking and inhuman.
It called for a comprehensive security surge in the Karim-Lamido and River Benue corridor, including establishment of a Forward Operating Base along the Kompany-Asusar route.
The Forum also urged NEMA to deliver relief materials as it demands the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
