Edo Assembly Speaker Agbebaku Resigns Amid Impeachment Plot
Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, has resigned.
Agbebaku stepped down after lawmakers plotted to impeach him.
His resignation was confirmed by his media aide, Ivy Ebojele.
The member representing Akoko Edo 11 constituency Yekini Idaiyi sworn in as Edo state House of Assembly Speaker following the resignation of the former speaker Blessing Agbebaku
Majority Leader also suspend, replaced by Member representing Esan south east constituency, Sunny Ojiezele
Ebojele said details of his resignation would be made public later.
