Bishop Olayinka Appointed Chairman of Immanuel College Governing Council

The Anglican community has congratulated the Lord Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ogbomoso, Rt. Rev. Dr. Titus Babatunde Olayinka, on his appointment as Chairman of the Governing Council of Immanuel College of Theology & Christian Education.
The appointment adds to Bishop Olayinka’s responsibilities as the Supervisory Bishop of the Ibadan Diocese, placing him in a strategic position to provide leadership and oversight for one of the Church’s foremost theological institutions.
Immanuel College has remained a key centre for the training of clergy, church workers and Christian leaders, with the Governing Council responsible for setting institutional policies, guiding growth and maintaining the college’s theological and educational standards.
The Anglican community described the appointment as a recognition of Bishop Olayinka’s leadership and commitment to Christian service, expressing confidence in his ability to advance theological education and strengthen the institution’s mission.
Church leaders and faithful have prayed for divine wisdom, strength and grace for the bishop as he assumes the new role, while wishing him success in this latest assignment in service to the Church.
