MINISTRY OF DEFENCE ON FACELIFT FOR NIGERIAN ARMY UNIVERSITY BIU
The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to transforming the Nigerian Army University Biu NAUB into a premier institution for specialised military and civilian capacity building

Leah Katung-Babatunde says,
General Musa stated this while receiving the University’s Governing Council at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja, where he assured the management of sustained strategic support and emphasised that NAUB remains critical to equipping personnel with the technical and operational expertise required to defeat complex contemporary security challenges.
To bridge specialised skill gaps across the national security landscape, the minister disclosed that the Ministry of Defence will collaborate directly with the Armed Forces of Nigeria to fully utilize the 30% admission quota allocated to military personnel.
The Pro-Chancellor of NAUB, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai commended General Musa for his tenacious leadership and strategic foresight, noting that his contributions continue to strengthen Nigeria’s defence architecture.
