NIS, NETHERLANDS STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP WITH DONATION OF HOSTMANSHIP EQUIPMENT
The Nigeria Immigration Service and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands have strengthened their partnership with the donation of specialised equipment to the Service’s Hostmanship Unit.
In a statement, the Service Public Relations Officer, Akinsola Akinlabi, says the equipment was presented at the Service Headquarters in Abuja to enhance the Unit’s training and operational capacity.
Receiving the equipment, the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nanna Nandap, describes the donation as a strategic investment in professionalism and customer-focused service delivery.
The statement notes that the partnership has trained hundreds of immigration officers and established the Hostmanship Unit under the European Union-supported Capacity Building and Relationship Management Project.
The Nigeria Immigration Service expresses appreciation to the Government of the Netherlands for its continued support and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening migration management and service excellence.
