POLICE RECOVER A LOCALLY MADE PISTOL, LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR FLEEING SUSPECTS

 

Police operatives have recover locally made pistol and is hunting for the fleeing suspects in Baylesa state.

This was when operatives attached to Ekeki Divisional Headquarters, while on routine patrol along Osiri Road, Tombia, observed a group of youths allegedly taking illicit drugs and fled the scene upon sighting the police, abandoning one locally made pistol, which was subsequently recovered.

 

A statement made public by the Police Public Relations officer Musa Mohammed indicates that Investigation has commenced, while efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspects.

 

The Command remains committed to proactive policing and urges members of the public to continue providing credible information that will assist in combating crime and enhancing public safety across the state.
