SHETTIMA LEADS MOURNERS AT LATE NGAZARGAMU EMIR’S FUNERAL
Vice President Kashim Shettima joined hundreds of mourners at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic Centre in Damaturu for the funeral prayer of the late Emir of Ngazargamu, Alhaji Tijjani Saleh Gaidam.
Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President conveyed the President’s condolences to the government and people of Yobe State, as well as the entire North-East region, over the monarch’s passing.
Shettima prayed for Allah to grant the late Emir eternal rest and admit him into Aljannatul-Firdaus. He also prayed for the bereaved family, the governments and people of Yobe and Borno states, and the wider North-East region to be granted the strength to bear the loss.
The late Emir of Ngazargamu died in Egypt on Monday after a prolonged illness.
