JAMB EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTANCE OF 2021–2026 ADMISSION OFFERS
ABUJA – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates offered admission between 2021 and 2026 to accept or reject their admission offers.
The Board announced that the new deadline is Wednesday, September 30, 2026, replacing the earlier deadline of Monday, August 31, 2026.
According to JAMB, the extension is intended to provide affected candidates with a final opportunity to indicate whether they wish to accept or reject their outstanding admission offers.
In a statement, the Board urged all candidates with pending admission offers, including those admitted through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and CUIIA admissions, to immediately log into their profiles and take the necessary action before the expiration of the new deadline.
JAMB emphasized that candidates who fail to respond within the stipulated period may forfeit the opportunity to regularise their admission status.
The Board reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in the admission process while encouraging candidates to promptly comply with the directive.
