One Year After: Family, Associates to Honour Buhari’s Legacy

Former appointees of late President Muhammadu Buhari have announced plans to commemorate the first anniversary of his passing with a series of remembrance activities scheduled for next month.

Chairman of the Central Planning Committee and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this during a media briefing in Abuja.

According to him, the programme will feature interfaith prayer sessions and the unveiling of a commemorative publication titled “The Book of Tributes,” which chronicles reflections on the life, leadership and legacy of the former president.

Mustapha said the event would attract members of Buhari’s family, close associates and dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria. He added that copies of the memoir would be distributed free to the public and formally presented to Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The committee also appealed to Nigerians to continue offering prayers for the repose of Buhari’s soul and to promote peace, unity and stability across the country.
