Ooni Loses Elder Brother
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has announced the death of his immediate elder brother, Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi.

The monarch disclosed the sad news in a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni’s Palace, Sodiq Lawal, describing the late prince as a distinguished entrepreneur whose life was defined by humility, visionary leadership and service to humanity.
According to the statement, Prince Adetunji’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the Ogunwusi family, the Ojaja Royal Dynasty and the entire Ile-Ife Kingdom.
Born on December 8, 1967, Prince Adetunji was a member of the Ojaja lineage of the Giesi Ruling House in Ile-Ife and served as the Group Chairman of Primewaterview Holdings.
The Ooni noted that his late brother built an outstanding reputation in the business world through excellence, innovation and visionary leadership while remaining deeply committed to humanitarian causes.
He added that Prince Adetunji quietly touched many lives through his generosity, wise counsel and selfless service, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by family, friends and the wider community.
