ORIRE ABDUCTION: BALA MOHAMMED ADVOCATES REVIEW OF SECURITY ARCHITECTURE
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has called for a review of Nigeria’s security architecture, stressing the need for stronger collaboration between security agencies and citizens to tackle the country’s security challenges.

Governor Mohammed made the call during a sympathy visit to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, over the recent abduction of teachers and pupils in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The Bauchi governor described the incident as unfortunate and emphasized the need for collective efforts to strengthen security measures and protect lives and property across the country.
He noted that improved intelligence sharing, community participation and enhanced coordination among security agencies would go a long way in addressing the growing threats posed by criminal elements.
Governor Mohammed also expressed solidarity with the government and people of Oyo State, while commiserating with the families of those affected by the abduction.
He reaffirmed the commitment of state governments to supporting initiatives aimed at improving national security and ensuring the safety of citizens.
