PBAT RECEIVES NIGERIAN AMB TO UN AND BUA CHAIR

President Bola Tinubu is expected to attend the 2026 United Nations General Assembly, UNGA in New York this September.

 

 

Nigeria’s ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Jimoh Ibrahim, disclosed this to state house correspondents after meeting with President Tinubu.

 

Jimoh Ibrahim who recently assumed duty following his appointment by the President, confirmed the President’s participation in the General Assembly and selected side events.

 

He added that the President will present Nigeria’s reform agenda to the international community and participate in high-level engagements on energy, education and healthcare.

 

 

President Tinubu equally received one of the biggest captains of industry, chairman of BUA group, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu in the state house.

 

Speaking to state house correspondent, Musbau Dan-Wahab after the audience, Alhaji Rabiu commended President Tinubu for instituting reforms in support of the business environment.

 

He promises continued support to the government towards easing prices of food commodities in the Nigeria.

 

The President also met with the National coordinator of the Renewed Hope ambassadors and Imo state governor, Hope Uzodimma.
