PRINCIPAL SUSPECT IN POLICE NET OVER VANDALISM OF TRANSMISSION TOWERS
The Transmission Company of Nigeria has confirmed the arrest of a principal suspect linked to the vandalism of six transmission towers along the Yola–Jalingo 330kV Transmission Line by the Nigeria Police force
A statement by the Transmission company of Nigeria states that a portion of the stolen tower members have been recovered.
TCN says the Police is tracking the remaining members of the syndicate with a view to ensure prosecution of the suspects
The transmission company of Nigeria TCN and the Nigeria Police Force had conducted a joint raid following the vandalism of the towers in the host community and the successful operation with the support of community members led to the arrest of the principal suspect.
