VP ARRIVES BHARAT MANDAPAM FORBRICS LEADERS’ SESSION
Vice President Kashim Shettima representing President Bola Tinubu has arrived at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi for today’s session of the 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit.
Vice President Shettima was received by the host, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ahead of the high-level deliberations involving leaders of BRICS member and partner countries.
The session will focus on resilience, innovation, cooperation, sustainability and inclusive global growth, as Nigeria pushes for deeper economic partnerships and a stronger voice for the Global South.
The Vice President will also present Nigeria’s partnership and foreign investment opportunities to leaders of the BRICS alliance at the ongoing summit themed, “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
While seeking a more inclusive international order, the Vice President will reiterate the objective of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to create sustainable opportunities for its people through reforms, the expansion of infrastructure, and the promotion of private-sector-led growth.
