NIGERIANS EVACUATED FROM SOUTH AFRICA ARRIVE LAGOS

The first batch of Nigerians evacuated from South Africa following months of xenophobic attacks has arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, aboard an Air Peace flight.

Officials of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) are on ground to receive the returnees and coordinate necessary support services.
