Police arrest suspected vandals in Yobe
Security personnel in Yobe state have succeeded in the arrest of a suspected vandal along the Damaturu–Babbangida 33KV line .
The incident resulted in a total blackout across Tarmuwa, Bursari, Yunusari and Geidam Local Government Areas, disrupting social and economic activities in the affected communities.
According to confession by the suspect, the alleged ring leader resides in Damaturu and has been giving instructions to members of the group to carry out the criminal activities, while he remains in the state capital conducting his business.
The suspect reportedly revealed that the group had been involved in the illegal activities for a long period.
