FRSC, NITT Seal Strategic Pact to Transform Transport Training
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing training, capacity development, research and innovation in Nigeria’s transport sector.
According to a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Osondu Ohaeri, the agreement was signed by the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, and the Director-General of Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, Bayero Farah.
The partnership is expected to enhance professional standards, strengthen institutional capacity and drive innovation across the transport industry. It will also focus on advancing research, modernising driver training centres and promoting ICT-driven learning.
The two organisations said the collaboration would help develop globally competitive transport professionals capable of addressing emerging mobility and road safety challenges, while positioning Nigeria’s transport sector for greater international relevance.
