JAMB RELEASES 2026 UTME MOP-UP RESULTS, BEGINS ADMISSION RANKING PROCESS
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise conducted for candidates who were unable to participate in the main examination due to technical and biometric verification challenges.
In a statement, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, urged affected candidates to check their results through the Board’s approved result-checking platforms.
According to the statement, the release of the mop-up results clears the way for the commencement of candidate ranking, a key stage in the admission process for tertiary institutions across the country.
The Board noted that the ranking exercise will begin immediately to facilitate timely admissions for the 2026 academic session.
JAMB also commended candidates, parents and other stakeholders for their patience, cooperation and understanding throughout the process.
The statement added that the printing of result slips required for admission purposes is expected to commence before the weekend.
