RADDA VISITS RESCUED WIFE OF LATE GENERAL, COMMENDS TROOPS

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has paid a condolence and solidarity visit to Hajiya Amina Rabe Abubakar, wife of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina.
The visit followed her rescue by troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA during a successful operation against bandits in the state.
Governor Radda said the troops engaged the criminal elements and secured her release in a swift and professionally executed mission, describing the operation as a demonstration of courage, discipline, and commitment to the protection of lives and property.
He commended officers and men of the Nigerian Army for their bravery, noting that their success has renewed public confidence and offered hope to communities affected by insecurity across Katsina State.
The Governor reaffirmed the commitment of the state government to support ongoing military operations and strengthen collaboration with security agencies in order to achieve lasting peace and stability.
He also extended condolences to the family of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, praying for strength for the bereaved family during the period of grief.
