TINUBU VOWS JUSTICE AS GUNMEN KILL 30 IN KADUNA COMMUNITY

President Orders Security Agencies to Hunt Down Attackers, Rescue Abductees

ABUJA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has strongly condemned the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, describing it as a barbaric and cowardly assault on innocent and defenceless citizens.

The President’s reaction followed the early morning attack on Monday in which about 30 residents, including women and children, were reportedly killed, while several houses were set ablaze by the assailants.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu said those responsible for the attack would be brought to justice, stressing that efforts to undermine the peace and security currently being enjoyed in Kaduna State would not succeed.

He described the incident as an unprovoked act of terror and extended his condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and the people of the state.

The President assured affected communities that the Federal Government stands firmly with them and remains committed to addressing security challenges across the country.

According to the statement, President Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected area to apprehend the perpetrators, secure the release of abducted victims and restore normalcy.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s security architecture through improved infrastructure, enhanced operational capacity and sustained efforts to dismantle criminal networks threatening national peace and stability.

He also urged residents and local communities to cooperate with security agencies by providing credible and actionable intelligence that could assist in preventing future attacks and improving response efforts.
