Kaduna Governor Cites Fairness, Equity in Choice of Southern Kaduna Politician

KADUNA — Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has nominated the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the 2027 Kaduna State governorship election.

In a press release announcing the decision, Governor Sani said the choice of Adams, who hails from Southern Kaduna, was guided by the principles of fairness, justice and equity.

The governor explained that the nomination reflects his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and the promotion of unity across the state.

According to him, the decision is aimed at ensuring that all communities in Kaduna State have a sense of belonging and adequate representation in government.

Governor Sani noted that the selection underscores his resolve to strengthen political inclusiveness and foster greater participation of diverse groups in the state’s leadership structure.

Jerry Adams currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, where he has been involved in efforts to improve revenue generation and fiscal management in the state.
