ADC DEREGISTRATION: ATIKU WELCOMES APPEAL COURT INTERVENTION
The 2027 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has welcomed the decision of the Court of Appeal to stay the execution of the Federal High Court judgment ordering the deregistration of the party and four others.
In a statement, Atiku described the appellate court’s intervention as a victory for constitutional democracy and the rule of law.

He noted that the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to seek a stay of execution of the judgment was significant and demonstrated respect for due process.
The former Vice President expressed confidence that the judiciary would continue to uphold the constitution and ensure justice is served in the matter.
Atiku also urged party members and supporters to remain calm and committed to the democratic process as the legal proceedings continue.
