FG, WORLD BANK ONBOARD 10 ADDITIONAL STATES INTO L-PRES
The Federal Government and the World Bank have onboarded 10 additional states into the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), in a major push to deepen livestock development across Nigeria.
The development was announced at the L-PRES Implementation Support Mission in Yola, Adamawa State, attended by delegates from existing participating states and the newly onboarded states.
Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, said L-PRES has become a key driver of livestock development through various interventions and programmes aimed at strengthening productivity, resilience and growth across the industry.
Among the personalities at the mission were World Bank Task Team Leader, Manivel Sene; Co-Task Team Leader, Dr. Chidozie Anyiro; and National Coordinator, L-PRES, Dr. Sanusi Abubakar, among others.
