Governors from across the federation are meeting in Abuja for the second physical session of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) in 2026, with key national issues expected to dominate discussions.
more than 15 governors arrived earlier at the NGF Secretariat ahead of the closed-door session, which is expected to last several hours.
Although the official agenda was not disclosed at the time of filing this report, sources indicate that security, the economy and other critical sectors affecting national development are likely to feature prominently in the deliberations.
The meeting is expected to provide a platform for governors to review pressing challenges facing the country and explore collaborative solutions with relevant stakeholders.
