The Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris who is in a working visit to France says Nigeria is exploring opportunities with France Médias Monde for the benefit of Nigeria’s broadcast industry.
As part of his activities in France, the nation’s chief spokesman visited the headquarters of France Médias Monde group, the parent company of FRANCE 24 and Radio France Internationale.
He was received by the Chairwoman and CEO Marie-Christine Saragosse, and Antoine Cormery, Director of France Médias Monde Académie.
Mohammed Idris said Nigeria’s fast-growing media market offers immense opportunities for local and international players, and that with genuine opportunities Nigeria digital broadcasting transition programme will benefit alot by gaining access to more content driven by greater investment, technology and competition to achieve a more vibrant and economically productive broadcast industry.
