Special Duties Ministry Verifies 772 Constituency Projects Nationwide
The Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Zephaniah Jisalo, says the ministry has successfully verified and issued mandates for 772 zonal intervention and constituency projects and programmes across the country since January 2023.
Jisalo disclosed this in a message presented on his behalf by Onwusoro A. Ihemelandu at the Second Quarter 2026 Stakeholders’ and Citizens’ Engagement Forum in Abuja.
According to the minister, the verified interventions comprise 393 projects and 479 programmes spread across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, reflecting the government’s commitment to equitable development and effective service delivery.
He noted that the ministry remains focused on transparency, accountability and stakeholder participation in the implementation of constituency and zonal intervention projects aimed at improving the welfare of citizens and accelerating national development.
